New Art!

Presenting:

A Hui Hou

A hui hou means "until we meet again" in Hawaiian. I wanted this piece to capture a fleeting moment as this beautiful honu glides by in the balmy, Hawaiian waters.

This was a fun piece to work on. It was commissioned by a friend in Texas who gave me a lot of freedom to work on the piece. He said that he loved my turtles and wanted one for himself--other than that, he trusted me to come up with something fun!

Commissioned paintings are always enjoyable because I love working in collaboration with someone to make their vision come to life on canvas (or in this case, wood panel!).

If you are interested in a commissioned painting of your own, contact me at info@emilybrantleyart.com to learn more.

Artfully Yours,

Emily
